How would I answer this question?

The answer to the first question: They were sold by unknown people, who thus sold him and his sister to European slave traders.

How would I answer the second half. I know this because the article you gave us said so?

" Are the people who kidnap Equiano and his sister European slave traders?  How do you know (4 points)? "
