OnePlus Two in Canada

Hey everybody, 

 

Just wondering about whether the OnePlus Two will work in Canada if I am on a Bell contract. I received an invite earlier this morning and I am tempted to use it however I want to be sure it will work with my carrier. As well, I am wondering if it is possible to just swap the Nano-sim card between my current phone and the OnePlus Two should I buy it... I am running out of time on this wonderful little invite..

Perhaps, but it is also a pretty good option compared to what I currently have.. My current phone is an iPhone 5, and the screen is currently just coming off due to what I believe is since the adhesive for the screen is gone. It's pretty bad too, the home button doesn't even work....

Im pretty sure it works with any carrier.

Ah ok, looking at the connectivity of the phone I believe it should, as the North American model supports all the bands that my cellular provider uses. However I am just trying to be sure so that I don't just up and waste $500+ CAD on a new phone that won't work as a phone...

Just the fact that it is UK-based, makes me think that it's unlikely it will come to Canada. Unfortunately that is the case for most things but I will watch that for sure... I'm just trying to collect as much info over the OPT before I get it since I do have less than 15 hours before my invite expires...

I have the one plus one and it's a solid phone, don't know about the one plus two too much... All I know is that it lacks NFC, MKBHD probably has a review of it, I would imagine it's a fine phone.

So I ordered it and it's been at Processing for a couple days now, anyone have any ideas how soon it should be until it ships?

1 sec I should have the email for my OPO but I didn't think it was too long. 

 

@TManTM it took about 5 working days before they shipped it, came in two days after that so probably about a week, however this was when they didn't have the invite system for about a day so, as a result there would have been a large influx of orders in a short period.

Ok thanks! Can't wait to get it so I just want to be sure. With all the waiting for the invites I guess I can deal with a few more days on top of that waiting... I guess.
