Need recommendations for MOBO!

Go to solution Solved by r1Ns3,

Don't get the thermal paste- it comes with the cooler. Why 16GB? No need for 750W PSU. 600W is enough.

Oh didn't know thermal paste came with the case lmao! thanks bro just saved me 10 bucks now I can literally buy shadow of mordor off g2a.com for same price LOL Thanks free game rip

Also I do know that it takes only like 500 watts to run the computer but is 750 watts enough for future upgrades lasting up to 3 years? I want to last 3 years and maybe then get sli/crossfire or a better graphics card? Or would I have to get a new PSU? If I have to get a new PSU even with 750 watts then that's fine I will switch to 600 watts :) thanks dude!

NVM turns out 750 watts is same price as 650 watts same specs lmao free upgrade!

16gb because i sometimes do some heavy graphics design and the difference between 8gb benchmarks on c4d is so different to 16gb :D

these are the changes i'd make:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($523.00 @ CPL Online)
Motherboard: Asus Z170-AR ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($245.00 @ Centre Com)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 390X 8GB SOC Video Card  ($599.00 @ PCCaseGear)
Case: NZXT Phantom 530 (White) ATX Full Tower Case  ($189.00 @ CPL Online)
Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($159.00 @ CPL Online)
Total: $2121.00
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Yes, I have a perfectly fine 1.3 tb extra storage Hard drive :) I just wanted to buy an SSD for my bootup to SPEEEEED up :D

Apparently my case comes with thermal paste so I'm not gonna use that anymore :D

Hello! third post so go easy on meh :D

So I am soon going to get a new computer and I can't find a motherboard. I am mainly looking for an ASUS board and don't really want a gigabyte or anything else.

I want a gaming motherboard so that I can overclock my graphics card and my cpu probably. I want to use this almost 24/7 and my whole PC budget is around $2100 AUD (Australian only)

This is what I have organised:

Yea that's pretty much all I just want a motherboard compatible with all my parts and stuff. the size doesn't matter since my case is like full tower (MASSIVE) literally fking huge but yea

So thanks for reading! No rush to reply :D

EDIT #1
I am now going to use the Asus Z170-AR ATX LGA1151 Motherboard as my MOBO since it is literally perfect and my MOBO setup is done! thanks to everyone who contributed!
