So I was wondering if I should get a air cooling to my build, but I'm wondering if I it will fit in my case. The problem is not the case itself only, but all the build itself.

Some pics with my GPU and the 4 HDD so people can get the idea how much space I have.

you got a k series chip, so get a z97 motherboard, you can't overclock with h97

nice build!

you can fit a bb67c718c2049a6fa7b1805488dab85a.med.256

according to pc part picker

I was thinking about the Noctua NH-D15 each is supposedly the best air cooling but don't know if it will fit because of the HDD in my build, even if the PC Part Picker seems it fine I read reports on the web saying otherwise.

I will take a look to that cooler in the performance/price relationship still.

Core i7-4790 - 3.6GHz - 295$

Core i7-4790K - 4.0GHz - 295$ + 33$

Do you understand why I get the K chip? I don't have interest in the OC.

I see some reports in the web that I can't, that's why. I will need something smaller but good too. I will see the measures of the Phanteks PH-TC12DX_BK 68.5 CFM CPU Cooler and see if it will fit.

Anyone with other options are welcome.

Btw, will water cooling need more maintenance than air cooling?
