21:9 VS 16:9

Hello All
just wondering is there is much difference in a 3 screen setup for 21:9 monitors and 16:9 monitors
as in

-gaming resolution acceptance (if the games like the reso)

-performance (i'm running in 4k atm getting good fps)

-size (if 3 monitors will fit on my desk)

-which are better for a 3 screen vesa mount

I currently have 2 21.5" 1600x900 and a 27" 4k

You do realize that 2* 16:9 screens side by side is 32:9 so 3 would be 48:9

That 2 16:9 monitors side by side is larger than 1 21:9 monitor.

 

I would go with the 3* 16:9 because it is more than double the work space.

If your goal is gaming... get a single 34" 21:9 first. I suspect you wont want to make a 3 monitor setup afterwards. 

 

3 monitor WOW factor dies in about a month and later it just an annoying bezel bullshit struggle.

 

U want "IMMERSHUN"? get a big 21:9 and you`ll be in bliss. Preferably one of these, few are available, all are here by the end of the year:
