Cheap guitar mods

Heys guys, I have a squier affinity strat and I really like it, however it looks pretty boring. The only difference from when I got it is the locking guitar strap and the capo that is always clipped to it. It currently looks like this:

 

I'm thinking about adding these

And these

 

Thoughts?

I'm a pretty simple man: when I had a crap strat-like guitar I just plastered it with stickers and that was it. Other than that the strat likes are easy enough to put new pick ups so try that for a bit of a better sound and also a fancier pick guard.

I assume pickups are pretty pricey?

Some can be but not necessarily: Depends on what kind of music you want to play. For metal simple stuff like seymour duncans work ok and can be had for like 40 bucks I think.

I rarely even change strings on my guitars, well I had to few days ago since one broke and tried to cut my throat  :lol:.

 

(Yes I know they should be changed frequently but I'm too lazy)

Those look pretty expensive to me. I usually play rock and classic rock but sometimes metal
