Samsung 840 or Crucial m500?

I am looking to get a 120GB SSD. The two that I am looking at most are the Samsung 840 (non pro) and the Crucial m500. Which would you pick out of those two, or any other suggestions that I didn't name?

Thanks for the help.

I have a Crucial M500 myself. Great performance and reliability so far. Both companies build their own NAND flash. So I'd say, if you're looking for performance, Samsung (according to benchmarks on the internet), or unless Crucial M500 is cheaper (depending on your region or choice of store).

I bought the M500 for reliability. The performance is good as well, but not as good as the Samsung 840.

Power-Loss Protection:  In the rare event that power fails while the drive is operating, power-loss protection helps ensure that data isn’t corrupted. To supplement our power-sensing firmware protection, our SSD engineers designed physical power reserves (capacitors) that are specifically tailored to our NAND requirements and deliver enough power to ensure data remains intact.

Samsung 840, Hyper 3k, ssdnow v300, ultra plus, extreme II, etc. All of them are good and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them. Get the cheapest out of these.
