Avexir Downclock

Go to solution Solved by alexhelvetica,

That should work AFAIK

So, for the Avexir ram I linked below, is there a way to downclock it to 1600mhz without having to do lots of stuff, like is there a 1600 profile.

Please answer this soon, if it's hard to understand then I will try to explain better.

[The reason] I already have 1600 mhz ram and am looking for two more sticks.

Why do you want to underclock ram?

I already have 1600 mhz ram.

I already have 1600 mhz ram.

Then find matching ram. Mixing ram doesn't always work.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

The sticks don't need to match as long as they're in their respective channel.

I'm fine with using Avexir and Corsair ram together as long as I can underclock the Avexir in a profile, without lots of manual work.

Are the timings the same?

If you, yes you can.

No need to "Underclock" the ram, that happends automaticlly

How do I find the timings?

Like will it be on the specifications on newegg for the respective rams?

Timing for the Averix Core: 9-11-9-27

It has it listed in specification

Why can't I use two ram sets with different timings, my ram is 9-9-9-24?

Some cases the computer will be stable.

Other cases, you will blue screen like a bitch.

The easiest and safest way is to use the exact same model of ram as before or at least have the same timing

Will this one work because the timing is the same as my own.
