No Signal

Hey, just got a new gpu about a 2 weeks ago (Yay), but I've encountered a problem. This didn't happen the first week, it just started happening a week ago. I would leave my computer overnight on, and when I would use it in the morning, it would show a no signal on my monitor.

 

It's a Evga 960 if that helps. I think it only happens after a long period of time of no usage. Thanks in advance.

I own an Evga 960 4GB and have had no issues at all, I don't leave my PC on all night though.

 

It sounds like a GPU driver problem or a bios problem.

Did you use the 960 driver from an installation disk or did you get the latest driver from Nvidia's website?

 

The best thing to do is uninstall the cards driver and get the new driver from Nvidia's website. (Use the clean install option when updating the cards driver)

If the problem remains try updating your motherboards bios.
