So I have my pc in my room upstairs that i use to play games, but i want to build another desktop for basic usage. I want it to be able to run basic games like league of legends but I don't need it to be good enough for like GTA because I would just use my main PC. My plan is to put this downstairs for everyone in my house to use. I have all the peripherals  and such so i would just need a case, mobo, ram, cpu, air cooler, already have a 760 sitting around somewhere so don't need a gpu, an SSD (yes I know this will bring the cost up) and I have a spare Power supply. Also need fans. My preference would be to build a fairly budget PC but I want it to be nearly silent or silent if possible. Budget is about 400$ maybe 500$ if worth the investment. If you could guys could give me some ideas that would be great

Thanks :D

Edit: also need to get windows 8 on the cheap :D

No peripheals, no GPU, and no power supply.

OS or Monitor? This should be fairly easy with no gpu or PSU needed.

haha yeah, I like tinkering around with my pc so I have a lot of spare parts laying around most of the time.

Got a 27" samsung monitor and 750 watt psu just sitting in the closet.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bWwynQ You could if wanted, drop the CPU down to an i3.

As for case fans, well, look into Cougar Vortex fans. Silent and effiencent, however you could also add a after market CPU cooler to help make the build quieter, I suggest a BeQuiet! Pure Rock, great price-performance.

You'll probably just want a build with an 860k CPU, in a tiny ITX case, if your GPU is ITX sized, if not the Elite 130 case is pretty nice.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
