Hyper X Cloud II Wire Issue

My Cloud II headset has a problem with the usb end where it connects to the controller. I have noticed that my computer does not see it unless I bend the wire in a certain way. I wish I could repair the wire but the end is laced with fabric. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
