unstable video output

Go to solution Solved by iamdarkyoshi,

Replace the video cable. i had the same issue.

Edit: the same faulty cable plugged into my onboard gfx actually blew up my z77 motherboard.

7 out of ten times when i start my pc it will show on the screen for a few seconds before displaying a black screen unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in will have it show for a few seconds again before going black it just started doing this a few weeks ago and i have no solution. note i am using a prebuilt system with a radeon r7 260x i installed in April. has any one else had this problem or have any solutions, thanks.

This happens to me sometimes, I fixed it by turning the PC on before I turn the screens on.
