Drag files in Bootable USB

My friend created bootable USB of windows 7 for me when it was new. Then I dragged some files on it Will it effect bootup. because now i am trying to install windows 7 it gets stuck on black screen with blinking dash.

Will i Have to buy new copy. 

- Cant use CD because i dont have CD drive in my PC.

I used MoboliveCD to check if USB is bootable  everything went well  and then  it got stuck on "booting from Hard Disk" Which should have come up with little window that shows installation.
