I am currently in the works of pursuing a small project, and I would like to ask the community if they can provide assistance for it. This minor project is going to be fairly simple-ish. On a Raspberry Pi Model A+, I am wanting to have an electronics group of:

-The board

-Approx. 5" non-touch display

-Power Bank

-Extremely bright light

-Speaker

-Power switch for light

-Power switch for the entire system, though may modify the switch on the power bank for this.

The minimum of this project, that I would be happy with, is having this model power on via a switch, go immediately to a running gif, and play a set audio file of songs and other audio bits. Also, it would have a second switch that can be pushed to turn on a bright light. If possible, I'd like to somehow have the board turn on the screen from an off mode, but I have no idea if that would work.

The best hopes for this project is having the system power on via switch, display a "powering on" gif, possibly transition to a gif, being a (false) screen saying it has successfully power on, then go to the running gif while a music queue starts playing, with songs randomized, and at a set interval, have another audio file separate songs.

If the Raspberry Pi Model A+ isnt enough, what is? I Would prefer having a very low profile board, unless there's a decent way to remove the tall USB's since they will be fairly unused.

If you haven't guessed what it'll be, it's going to be a Pip-Boy, where it just functions as a light and to play Galaxy News Radio (Perhaps if possibly, also have a setting for Radio New Vegas).
