Building my new PC

In the next month or so I 'm gonna build my new pc, take a look

 

•  case: Fractal Design r5
•  psu: Evga Supernova 750 G2
•  cpu: Intel i7 6700k
•  mobo: Msi z170 Krait
•  ram: Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB (dual 4) DDR4 2666MHz Cl15
•  ssd: 128GB Samsung 850 pro
•  hdd: 1TB WD caviar blue
• For cooling I 'll go for a cheap coolermaster one and I'll upgrade later on

 and now for the gpu should I take a gtx 970 or should I wait the next generation with HBM2 !!? 

What's your opinion?

The 390 or 290x is probably the best choice GPU wise ATM!

The launch is supposed to be on mid 2016,i dont think its worth waiting that much,i would go with the 970 since its cheaper as you said

well from a gtx 970 to a 980ti is really a big jump in money

There are always going to be newer GPUs or CPUs after you buy your CPU or GPU.

Most of the time, you would say "Shit, I wish I had of waited the extra X months."

If you can wait, sure, but if you cannot, get it now.

 

I suggested the 290x and the 390 because they are both better than the 970
