Hey world.

Friends laptop fan started making death noise. I said you're going to have to replace that. Little did I know I had just volunteered to be the repairman.  Had never worked on a pc/laptop before. It all went back together and worked. I found Speccy and threw it on just to check temps.  Got payment of 1 pound Bacon.

mmmmmmmm Bacon.

Got home, decided to throw Speccy on my K55N laptop.  Was intimidated by a 120C temp on my APU. Somewhere in my search for more info I found LTT about a week ago.  Started lurking on forums a few days ago. (The temp readout is faulty or something along those lines from what I've gathered)

Somewhere in the mix I've started developing an itch to get a desktop again.  Mine died years ago, and likely the only piece worth salvage from it is the case.

I know close to nothing about tech, so here I am to gain some knowledge before I venture into a build.

Cheers,
Cinders_Knight

Welcome to the forum. One pound of bacon is  about as good as payment gets. Consider yourself lucky.
