So my fan controller died in my Coolermaster Storm Trooper and I am now wondering what I need to plug my Bitfenix Spectre Pro fans into my power supply so that the fans and the LED's work. I know I am probably gonna get blasted on this but I can find a definitive answer. The Bitfenix Spectre Pro has a 3 pin female connector for the fan and a 2 pin female connector for the LED's. Thanks in advance! I am very new to all this.

As far as I know you may just want to plug in your 3 pin fan connector into your motherboard, and then use an adapter to a molex for the 2 pin led power cable. You may also want to look and see if your motherboard has a program for setting fan speeds, if not you can set the speeds in the bios.

No worries about a noob question, we all have to learn somehow or another. In fact I am still learning myself.  :D

I would rather not go through the hassel of taking everything out of my case and waiting for the RMA to go through. I would rather just say fudge it and plug into the power supply and be done with it but I don't know what I need to do to do that

I had thought of this but unfortunatly I only have one slot available for a fan to be plugged in and I have two fans to plug in.

You can try using a splitter so that you can control 2 fans from one header on the board.
