is my graphics card bad

msi r9 270x oc 2gb i been having it for about 2 months last week when i play gta v sky will sometimes have black lines then in the middle of the game black screen ive been trying to fix it i use display driver uninstaller and reinstall drivers, clear cmos, took it our resteaded, put it in another slot nothing but it will run in safe mode if i make my resolution 1024x768 it will load i can see my desktop but i open anything i get white or blue screen with lines vertical

Have you tried using a different vga cable or a different port on your gpu?

Your VGA connector might not be good enough to transfer the signal 100% correct. VGA is not digital, so you can see a lot of artifacts when not connected correctly. To check this, you should plug your pc into a HDMI monitor or television, to make sure it's not your GPU or system.

It sounds like either you have a bad cable, a loose connection between the cable and one of the ports, or a bad port

sorry it took so long to replay i finally got 1920x1080 monitor i can log in see my desktop if i click on something few minutes later it goes black stays i tried to update my driver after it flickers my monitor goes green with white vertical line
