GPUs and monitor used need some advice

Hello

 

I currently have my components being delivered soon and I was going to order the ACER Predator X34 with it, now that has been delayed to 6 November in the UK and it is receiving bad user reviews, so I will pre order the ASUS PG348Q

 

I will be using two GTX 980ti Classified overclocked, the problem is that I will be using a 1080p 21 inch 60hz monitor until the ASUS PG348Q comes out, do you think I should disable one of the GTX 980ti and just use the one until I get my ASUS PG348Q as two GTX 980ti Classified at 1080p would be a waste
