Best Wired Network Adapter?

Go to solution Solved by X1XNobleX1X,

Just curious. Looking for something that fits PCI Express x8 or x1 and runs the best out of everything.

There isn't really any "best" NICs, they're all the same thing really. (Just the brand is different). Although, the more expensive ones are obviously more reliable.

What's wrong with the onboard adapter?

A Pci 1x is compatible in an 8x slot, but what kind of speeds do you get? and do you need it for anything other then internet because it won't effect the speed really even a semi cheap one
