Sir i will shake your hand for that because why on earth do you put your credit card info onto your computer and no offense only airhead people do that. Anyway, have you run your antivirus full scan yet? If not then you can follow my simple steps to see if you have virus on your PC.

*** Run this without any applications running that includes browser, Steam, or music. *****

1) Malwarebytes Anti Malware - run threat scan

2) AdwCleaner

3) Kaspersky TDSSKiller

4) ESET Online Scanner

5) Emsisoft Emergency Kit

6) Norton Power Eraser

Just turn it off for now until you can get back to it. What was it? And what did you use to remove it?

help plz

How can anyone help if you don't give info???

What's the detected virus name? Did your AV delete it? Have you run a full AV scan and a Malwarebytes scan? Have you checked for remainders in safe mode? Is that PC connected to other devices (cloud or home group for example)? Have you checked if other people had the same problem?

I can't help unless you provide some basic information, like what the name of what the virus was and what you used to remove it.

Maybe, but you should run a scan with malwarebytes first.

If a RAT has got on your pc, if its not a basic trojan then that means either your targetted or your a part of a pretty serious botnet.

Disconnect from any internet, this means no applications or any programs on your computer can connect to the internet,

And then either completley wipe windows, or use a good removal tool, except most RATs are custom made and aren't gonna be detected (unless it was a kiddie script).

Lets just hope the attacker hasn't put a bios level backdoor in there.  If they have.  Your screwed. (very rare though)

AV Tools are good to detect a Virus, but to remove them, there is only one trustworthy way. Reinstall your OC.
