Hey guys, I am trying to find out a way to have my 6 TB of storage while Dual Dooting.. If I keep my 3 2TB drives in my PC then I can get 600 MBps but I CAN NOT Dual Boot OS X and Windows like I have done in the past.. If I move my 6TB of storage to my Server and use it as a nas then I will only have 100 MBps but all of my downloads will get cached and I can Dual Boot OS X.. Thanks!

Why not run OSX in a VM?

I do content creation.. No VM's, too slow and laggy to use it and I like to use my dual monitors for it.

One or more SSDs in the PC, all the data on the NAS.  That's the best setup IMO (which is why it's the one I use).

The data where access time and speed is critical can be stored on the SSD(s), but stored movies and music aren't that critical so the transfer speed from the NAS is more than enough.

I went all SSD inside the PC.  Both Linux and Windows, as well as one for working with huge files.  Permanent storage is then done on the NAS.

Well the way I am wanting my setup to be is Windows on my 120 GB SSD and OS X on my 500GB HDD and have my 3 2TB drives in Raid 0 for my content (Projects and stuff) and the backup to my NAS..
