Hello!

I've recently built a new computer, and would like to know if I could use my current prebuilt HP computer's Windows Key on my new rig? Or do I need to purchase Windows?

Thanks in advanced!

:D

OEM keys HAVE to be used with the computer they were assigned (legally).

Retail keys have the luxury to be moved from one machine to another, as long as you scrap the original machine.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
