MSi GTX 760 HAWK release date?

does anyone knows when is the release date of this card? I was about to buy the gaming edition but when i was just about to this came out, and its a beast i think ill just gonna wait for this card..

Edit: Just get the cheapest 760 with a dual/triple fan cooler instead. The performance difference is rarely worth the extra money. Or even better yet, get a 7950 for better performance.

The AMD Radeon HD 7950 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 perform at the same level and are also in the same price segment. It all comes down to brand preference and software features!

I don't think the AMD Radeon 7950 is even comparable to the MSI GTX760 HAWK. The HAWK is even right up there with the AMD RADEON 7970 at times. Check out the reviews here:

Pretty sure its available on Newegg for 289.99 (although its sold out!)

Seen a few people benching them so far, they almost broke the 50 FPS mark on Extreme HD Preset for Unigine Valley.  (I get 46.5 at 1280/7400 on my MSI Gaming GTX 760). Stocks GTX 760 gets like 39-39.5 I believe it was.

 

I bought my GTX 760 MSI Gaming for 269.99 CDN (259.99 on American sites).  I would have easily paid the extra $20 for a top binned card, backplate etc.,

 

Seen some of their cores near/at 1400Mhz which is pretty insane without voltage tweaking (still only has the +12mV which does nothing really).

 

To the guy above - the 7950 is not better then the GTX 760.  This is misinformation and you're probably going by Linus' performance review which isn't a fair comparison due to several facts (ie. reference vs non-reference, decent OC vs poor OC).  HardOCP has a GTX 760 OC review against the 7950 which puts them at similar performances even when OC.

 

In the end you can't go wrong with either card as they perform the same.  You do get three games with the 7950 though so keep that in mind, also keep in mind that the cheaper 7950s are Sapphire (i'd never buy one of those 3L versions) and the comparable GTX 760 like EVGA/MSIs are extremely well built imo

 

Either this forum is heavy on the AMD Fanboys, or heavily misinformed from that horrible "performance" review from Linus'.
