Ok. I shut down yesterday night my pc with Windows 8.1 using the mode "install updates and shut down". Now it is morning and it says it has only installed 6 out of 27 updates. I NEED to work with my computer, what sould i do?

It even has Great specs as it is a Premium laptop, core i7, 16 GB of ram and a gtx 840m... Please help me!

Look, if it has 27 updates to do you have neglected to do updates for a while...  So I think this is proper punishment for poor mainance.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Just leave it.

If you need it NOW, hold down the power button and it should revert the updates.

Hey dude, 

 

See if it is changing in one hour otherwise just hardware turn off your pc aka hold the power button. The not installed updates will come in a later update. Dont worry about data loss.

It is my sister's computer, not actually My computer, there you have Your punishment...

You sure it won't cause any major damagess to the pc?

No, not really, the updates will just reverse, and then you can re-install them. Next time just select less updates to install and do them a few at a time. 

Troubleshooting a pc will make you believe in gremlins.
