Proxmox Partitioning Help!

So I recently purchased a Dell PowerEdge R210 server with plans of using half of it as a Plex movie server and the other half as a game server of some sort. The server has two 3TB drives, and when I installed proxmox onto one of those drives and went to set up a VM only the drive that had not been installed on would appear as something that could be distributed among the nodes. I should be able to use the remaining space on that first drive, right? How can I get that to work? I'm about to reinstall Proxmox for other reasons but would like to make sure that this will work.
