Stuttering In Games

When I am playing non intensive games, it stutters throughout. Also when search the web it freezes sometimes. How do I fix this?

have you tried a "running at stock" test?

how are temps?

what games?

could be bad memory, bad PSU, bad motherboard. Lot's of options

I know freezes/hangs can be caused by a bad PSU and OCing on that one is a bad idea. It's already low quality soooo yeah.

Its probably your psu you have a relatively poor quality one its not the worst psu but the corsair cx series is notoriously under-par

Test with another psu, then go buy a seasonic m12ii evo.

I would be replacing the PSU. The Seasonic mentioned above is a fantastic choice.

How does the PSU affect performance? What makes a good PSU

A psu could not be supplying the needed power all the time, meaning the gpu will be forced to slow down to use less power. A good power supply is one from a reputable company (not corsair bc their psu is manufactured by another company). E.g. seasonic. And it should have good quality parts and safety, unlike the cx psu, they can go boom within a year to two, taking other parts out with it. Jonny guru does the best reviews and ratings on PSU's and has the equipment to do so. He rates the m12ii 9.4 out of 10 witch is very good meaning the psu will last long under strain unlike the cx.
