Hi,

I am looking to get a whole new build, all from scratch.

I am useless when it comes to knowing what parts to get so will need as much help as I can get.

What will I be using it for?

Streaming on Twitch

Mainly playing games, as above.

What sort of games?

Arma 3

Heroes & Generals

These are the main 2 for the moment however will include the following when they are released:

Rainbow Six Seige

Tom Clancy's The Division

Star Wars Battlefront

I don't really know where to start.

I think I will be going for an i7 over an AMD CPU.

Not sure whether to go for AMD or NVidia GPU.

Will want SSD for quick boot time as I'm impatient when it comes to loading up PC's ;)

Also decent HDD storage.

Everything else is a huge fog to me especially when it comes to choosing motherboards.

Basically I need an idea of how much money to save. I know new parts come out very often but an idea of a good build and the price will help me figure out what sort of money to save.

Also, if you have any suggestions to monitors that would be appreciated.

I do not need keyboard, mouse as I have Razer Chroma set.

Thanks!

Danny

Yeah, cost is really something big. And I would recommend either a r9 290x, r9 390, or a GTX 970 for your gpu

Don't be fooled by the bottom line of my sig, that is just for my travels.

So you're telling me that Gaben is no God? Enough of your foolishness.

My hardware you ask? I'm using a Dell Inspiron 3217 Notebook... With an LG 25UM57.

Xeon E3-1231 V3 is what you want.

And how much money do you want to spend and are you overclocking?

I guess I could overclock.

I would say for the system itself around £2000 - £2500 Max.

As I need money to buy 2 monitors.

I found 2 1080p 144Hz monitors that are about 250 euros. http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-XL2411Z-24-Inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00ITORITU/?tag=amazon0606-20

For these monitors, I would recommend either a GTX 970 or 980(if you really need the performance) as you'll get more out of the monitors.

you can get 390X for £299... Crossfire is better then SLI atm, and Battlefront is a AMD title....

shaving nearly £200  off the build will be nice

since you are streaming and your budget is  very high  :P
imo you  should go x99,  more cores=better multitasking
i made a pc, my 1st, recently, is very  hard to build one, choose the best price, parts... but imo is part of the job and very rewarding.
