I watched the LinusTechTips video on Mousepads but did not quite understand really the difference between hard pads and mousepads, the difference between things like speed and control.

I have a Steelseries Qck right now but it is a bit too small as I have to constantly lift my mouse (is that normal?) due to my lower sensitivity.

What mousepads are just overall pretty good?

Thanks

If you like the QcK get the QcK+, it's the same thing but bigger. I myself have a Razer Goliathus Speed and I've also had a control, and personally i prefer speed/soft, hard ones get very dirty really quick for me.

So try the QcK+ or Goliathus Speed.

I'm pretty sure they make a plus size. I'd recomend that

My Build: i7-4790K, 212 Evo, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR3-1600, Intel 730 240GB SSD, WD Blue 1TB, EVGA GTX 980Ti ACX 2.0, NZXT H440 Blue/Black, EVGA 650W 80+Gold.

Most of the time, it's not the computer, it's the person using it.

Well for refrence, usually cloth mousepads offer more resistance {since they are cloth} to mouse movements, while hard mousepads are slick and offer less resistance to mouse movement. It's debatable which mousepads can have greater speeds...since technically the "Speed" is how fast you can move your mouse arm.

Thanks!

PureTrak Talent, done.

The biggest Razer Goliathus(Speed or Control) isn't bad either.

Getting a bigger QCK isn't a bad idea either, if there isn't anything annoying you about your current mat other than the size.

For size, I use 17"/360 or so, and the PureTrak does me fine.
