Input on system requirements needed

My friend has the following system
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 1.9 GHz dual core
RAM: 3GB DDR2
GPU: Nvidia 9600 GT

Here's chivalry's system requirements - would he be able to run it @ 1280x1024 res? thoughts?

  • OS: Windows XP 
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.7 GHz (a dual-core CPU is required) 
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM 
  • Graphics: ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher. 512MB VRAM. 
  • DirectX®: 9.0c 
  • Hard Drive: 7 GB HD space 
  • Other Requirements: Broadband Internet connection 
  • Supported controls:: Keyboard + Mouse, or Xbox 360 controller, Xbox One controller, or compatible XInput controller

Should run fine, may have to tweak everything down.

I was slightly concerned about the CPU - i know the specs they post are for 1080p so I imagined it could run but still wanted more opinions before dropping cash on it.

I think it would run fine. Low settings probably, at that resolution you might get over 30fps.

Low settings, yes.

I love the game btw :)

Connection: 200mbps / 12mbps 5Ghz wifi
