I have a z77xud5h motherboard with a i7 3770k, for this discussion I have NOT OVERCLOCKED ANYTHING.

I had 2 sticks or corsair vengeance pro in the board and for the life of me in dual configuration it will not work, I just get the constant set of bleeps issue.  In single channel mod these sticks are awesome.   Even if I overclock the sticks my pc never crashes and never has ram issues when overclocked correctly with other aspects of my pc.

But no dual channel. I bought 2 difference corsair sticks the corsair vengeance 2100 sticks.  I still have the same issue with these different sticks.

I stayed with them for the last year.

I bought a ssd Samsung and wanted to take full advantage of its memory cashing feature. So I bought 2 exact sticks without thinking about the dual bios option(lol).  I can not install 3 or 4 sticks of ram because the same thing happens, it just bleeps.  I'm guessing this is because its forcing dual ram method.

I cant rma the board cause its old now.  Any ideas to either getting dual memory working or even if its possible to just run all 4 slots in a single configuration.  At this point I simply don't care.

also if neither is a option whats the top 2 z77 motherboards for overclocking.  They must have at least 8 sata ports and 4 of them must be sata 3 6gig.  I only use a single gpu option.

remember in single config all my sticks work fine with no issues and in another motherboard same thing.  Strangely I also tried it in a z97 gigabyte board too and it just wouldn't do dual ram either.

ps: please only suggest motherboard manufacturers that support their board with drivers for a good period of time.

Is the CPU new or pre-owned? I had a 3770k that did this and it was my own doing. I damaged a memory controller de-lidding it and it never worked in dual channel again. Can you try a friends CPU in your motherboard?

new when I bought it.

I do usually overclock it with 1.24 voltage and 4.3.

Ive got a feeling then that that's what I have done, not delided but when I first overclocked it and ram I might have gona a step to high..  pretty much all my friends are now on the 1150 socket so ill probably just accept this until my next upgrade in 2-3 years time :). thks for that :).  Everything else works and very reliably so not to bothered just shame I wont get that extra ssd speed lol.  My read and writes are fast but this board takes like 20 sec to boot, I was trying to get that down but cant, that's the best I can get.

I didnt see that you had tried the ram in another board with the same symptoms. Have you tried dual channel in both pairs of slots? Maybe try a bios flash? seems odd that all these ram sticks are causing issues

Also try running the ram at a slower speed, just a stab in the dark

I have tried both sets in a z97 gigabyte board and same issue. that was with a anniversary 3258 intel processor.  ive tried under clocking the ram, I ram at 667 and at 400, nothing I do will allow me to boot up with a dual setup. When I said tried all the ram that's 3 sets of 2 .  2 sets of 2 are corsair vengeance red 2100 and 1 set is corsair 2400 black vengeance pro, all have been tried underclocked, overclocked and default settings and still on both these boards its still not accepting dual bios, ive even tried 2 setperate bios on both motherboads.  So I have no idea.  Is there anyway to make the motherboard read each channel as single with 4 sticks in.

The rasm stickes themselves run well and to 2100 when in single channel.

oh and yeh tried it both sets of slots.  I know I'm gona be trying as different manufacturer next time for motherboard, which is a shame as ive used gigabyte gor 16 years and never had these issues before.

what really gets me is that I'm using ram that's on their memory list.

if I could for sure know what it was then id be happy to send the part away for a replacement as everything is pretty m uch under 2 years old.

well I can't figure this out. You have tried multiple ram, on different boards with different cpus, those are the only denominators. I think I would try a different CPU though going from my experience

If it's all under 2 years, is it all from the same store? if so send it all back!

I had the same issue with an MSI gaming 7, couldn't get dual channel to work, first I was just getting error messages but after a BIOS update the PC started boot looping, I ended up returning the mobo.

Try to update bios and see what happens

thks for trying guys.  I'm pretty much gona send the ram back and buy 2 sticks to get to 16gig instead,  its the cheapest way for me really.  My Samsung will use 4 gig for write speeds increase so that's all I'm really after, I don't wana spend 2-4 weeks withouhg my main comp and apart from dual memory channel not working everything else is pretty awesome.  I suppose I could try a older bios maybe that's a way to go but not sure I can be bothered now.
