I'm only using chrome and stuff right now, but I've downloaded catalyst control center for my sapphire 7950. Currently it says it's at 0% activity and 0% power. Is that normal for just doing chrome and whatnot? Does it not start working until I start gaming? Maybe I don't have the drivers installed or something...Also can I just use the Catalyst Control Center to OC it? it lets me go to 1200 MHz for High Performance GPU clock settings and 1500MHz for Higher Performance memory clock settings. Thanks I just want to make sure everything new and shiny is working great. :P

That should be fine. Afterburner says that for me as well. It just doesn't need the gpu to browse internet really. And I'm not sure if you can oc from Catalyst. I did my oc from msi afterburner and its an easy program to use.

It depends. You not being dong anything graphically intensive, do a burn in test with OCCT or Furmark to make sure nothings odd. It might just be Virtu doing the work since it's nothing demanding (if it works the way I think it works)

Alright I just wanted to make sure. Should I let Furmark run over night?

no, just make sure the card works properly if you have no games to test on it.

Oh I have plenty of games... :)

My gpu has 0% usage also if I just use it for browsing the internet. Using a MSI Twin Frozr 3 7950. So I guess its fine. If you are OCing it, MSI Afterburner is not a bad choice for overclocking because it gives you more information.
