So like my friend is dropping his PC off to me.  I helped him with it awhile ago, but he says the screen keeps flickering and stuffs.  I've had him try a different monitor and cable and it's still doing it. So I want to make sure that I can replicate the issue.  I rly think it's the video card, but not sure what program to test it with.  Maybe a game like Crysis 3?  He says it happens in wow (the only game he plays).  So ya, I am not sure if mebbe I should use 3D Mark 13, a game or kombuster, totally not sure :(.

If the GPU is causing the issue the using something like kombuster that stress' out the GPU would most likely recreate the issue.

Kompuster, 3DMark or a graphical intensive game would be able to recreate the issue. Unless the problem is with WoW

^^ -- this.

synthetic benchmarking apps can do a lot of good, but they are not the total answer

to a problem. they can shake-down the GPU and if no issue, then test on application

it fails on with all the same hardware. what might work on your station, might not on

another station. possible monitor power issues, etc.. do what you can do to clear it

at your location, but i wouldn't count on it being fixed until back in its original location.
