So I just backed up my ipod touch to my computer, it's an HP Envy 17 do any of you know where I can view the backed up files?

I'm playing my Xbone on 3 LG Curved monitors-No one ever

Jailbroken?

What files? IPAS? IPSW? APP DATA?

itunes backup doesn't let you get those

 

 

 

just go to my computer >ipod touch  then copy paste

It's not showing up :/ I went to This PC and there was nothing where the ipod should have been displayed...Btw this is an old iPod touch it may even be first gen I can't remember

It's not showing up :/ I went to This PC and there was nothing where the ipod should have been displayed...Btw this is an old iPod touch it may even be first gen I can't remember

It needs to be ON and UNLOCKED.

Yep it's a certified cable that I bought at the Georgetown University student store and if you need further proof, they are a licensed vendor of apple products and they sell ipads and macbooks

Does windows grab drivers?

If not, it's probably the cable either failing to transfer data.

I don't understand your goal. What exactly are you trying to do?

If you made a normal iTunes backup of your iPod and you want to copy data from the backup, you can't without third party software.

But if you have the iPod, why do you need/want to dig through the backup? If you have pictures on it, that typically means you either 1) took them with the iPod, so you can just go into the DCIM folder to copy them off like any other camera. 2) synced them to the iPod, which also means they're already on your computer because, well, you synced them from the computer.

If neither of those circumstances fit what happened or what you're trying to do, reply and be much more specific.

I just want to pull the pictures off but my PC isn't picking up the iPod.  Itunes picks it up but there is no option for videos and photos under on this device so I can't pull those off.  I just want to know how to get the pictures off the ipod

So the iPod is appearing in iTunes but not in Windows Explorer? 

 

The pictures you want to offload are the pictures that were taken by the iPod?
