Windows 10 audio messed up

I booted up my computer today to have my skype volume extremely low and my tf2 volume all weird and trebly and almost mono sounding (not sure though) so I uninstalled drivers, reinstalled drivers, changed the bitrate, Nothing plays audio anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions as how to fix this issue?

Are you using generic drivers? Try the supplied one by the Board/PC manufacturer. Check out all the audio settings too.

It could be that you selected a bitrate that your device doesn't support. For all of the weird sounds, I know that sometimes when I install CS I get some really loud volume, which ends up being a massive, clipping mess, but turning game volume down fixes it.

As stated above, make sure you have the drivers supplied by the manufacturer (e.g. download and install them manually, don't let windows try to find the right drivers...)

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
