MSI Z97S Krait

Go to solution Solved by martward,

1) Yes you can enter the bios from windows. Just right click the window icon on the bottom left and navigate to restart. Then you hold shift while pressing restart. This will get you in a menu where you can go to "solve problems" -> "Settings for UEFI-firmware" (not sure about the actual text since I translated it from my own language).

2) From within the Bios, disable fast boot under Setting -> Advanced -> Windows 8/8.1/10 configuration. This ought to take care of the not being able to boot into the UEFI but I'm not sure (never had the problem)

3) Dunno, maybe under settings -> advanced -> Wake up event setup?

EDIT:

Maybe this'll help

I have three questions reguarding this motherboard, one of them being an actual issue.

1: Can I access the BIOS on desktop? I've seen some people using MSI Click Bios 2, tho this one uses Click Bios 4. Couldn't find anything while looking over Google.

2: I've used the CD the motherboard came with, and installed two 'drivers' from there, thinking I need or miss them.

Realtek PCIE Network Drivers

Intel Smart Connect Technology

Ever since my USB Keyboard (Cooler Master QuickFire TK) won't turn on/activate before Windows boots, thus making it impossible for me to access the BIOS.

I've tried to uninstall Smart Connect, nothing. Any solution?

3: What's the propper way to enable WOL? PCIE Wake Up and Wake Up enabled from Device Manager didn't do it.

Best regards.

1: Awesome. I'll try that right away.

2: Fast Boot... that's what it did that. I'll need to disable it.

3: Solved it. Realtek PCIE Network Drivers did the trick. Apparently I was missing a driver.

Thanks for the quick answer.
