Windows 10 OEM?

Go to solution Solved by Speedbird,

So recently I upgraded from Windows 7 home premium OEM to Windows 10 and I was curious. As you cannot change a motherboard

when you have an OEM operating system, is it now possible for me to upgrade my motherboard in the future because I now have Windows 10, if I need to, rather than buy

all the parts and make a new system.

I can provide my system specs if needs be.

Thanks all :D

No. The Windows 10 licence remains OEM, and is tied to the motherboard.
