awesome build

you could save some bucks by buying windows from reddit

also, it's not worth to get a wd black drive. get a blue drive which will run more quiet and it will cost less

also, i'd take the corsair 750d over this case. it would look alot more modern and classy. that's my opinion

AMD Athlon X4 750k; Gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2; 8Gb Corsair XMS 1600 Mhz; AMD Hd5670 1Gb DDR3; Bequiet E6-600W; W7 Ultimate x64

Thanks :), I thought about the 750D, however the optical drives on the front not being flush bothers my OCD a bit. ;) However the WD Black was just cause I've never had one, always had seagate drives fall into my possession. I heard games are good on those tho? Maybe I'll have to look into that or Install Windows 7 (I have the disc and just upgrade it).

as ssd's reached the limit of sata 3, hdd's have reached the limit of their technology. you won't notice any difference in getting a wd blue over a wd black. in the worst case, the difference would be of at most 5 mb/s

Cool build, but I'd go with an Asus/Gigabyte/MSI board instead, don't generally trust ASRock

EDIT: Also, if I hear of one more build called 'The Beast' I'm going to flip my shit.

CPU: i5-4690k GPU: 280x Toxic PSU: Coolermaster V750 Motherboard: Z97X-SOC RAM: Ripjaws 1x8 1600mhz Case: Corsair 750D HDD: WD Blue 1TB

I really struggled between Asus & Asrock, but I couldn't justify the $500 dollars for a motherboard. Just like I couldn't justify the $1000 dollars for the 8-core I was going to originally put into this beast. The MSI doesn't have enough red pop to me, but I do agree they are better boards.

It blends in after looking at it in real life.....

I know I was just giving you a hard time. I really struggled between the two cases tho. Eventually I want to water cool this thing with a custom loop.
