My PC is 100% operable; in great shape (cleaned it thoroughly 3 times since i bought it ~9 months ago).

Here are my specs:

X99 UD5 Wifi (and Bluetooth)

5820K (oc'd only a little (to 3.8 ghz))

Scythe Mugen Max (great cooler, CPU temps do not go over 55*C)

Crucial 16GB DDR4 (4x4GB)

GTX 970 Windforce

Enthoo Pro (in Black w/ window)

EVGA 750W G2

4 x BeQuiet Silent Wings fans (very silent and good airflow)

Crucial MX100 512GB SSD

Note that all these components were bought and are being sold in austria, europe and i would also like you to take into account the increase in price of PC parts (in europe). If you are from the US or Canada please check the pricing of components on geizhals.at before letting me know how much you would pay for my PC .

Please mention the price you are willing to pay for it in Euros (1 Euro = 1.12 US$).

Thanks for reading and i am looking forward to your suggestions on how much i should sell this PC for.

P.S. I was thinking ~ 1150 Euros.

EDIT1: New price for these components right now would be 1600 Euros.

So you're telling me you can't for some reason restrict yourself from playing games ? When you need to do school work? That isn't very good in my book shows that you don't have mental restraint.

I am addicted, and just most other addicts the quickest and perhaps most effective way to get out of it is to make yourself not be able to do what you are addicted to.

Thanks for the suggestion, why would you suggest ~500 Euros more than the others though?

Why don't you run linux on it instead of wasting money on a mac?

1150€ seems perfectly fair to me, maybe too little if it's in perfect conditions. Maybe even 1500€.

My school uses macs exclusively. If i use a mac then i will be able to run all the application that i run in school and it would be much easier for me to transition from working in school to working at home.

What up with all the 1K posts? You really think a well kept PC with a value of over 1600 euros (~1800$) is worth 1K, it is still a new computer (supports all the latest advancements that skylake does, apart from usb 3.1).

Because that machine is expensive has nice parts and will make an excellent multi-purpose machine and pretty sure you taken good care of it so that also increases value. No one wants to purchase a clunky ugly looking PC it's just natural same thing with foods that look bad or extremely funky.

I already have a Macbook Pro Late 2011 w/ i7 8GB RAM but that is too slow for me. I need something fast with at least 12GB of RAM (and an i7 as well as an SSD) because my macbook pro maxes out the 8GB when running lots of chrome tabs (not abandoning chrome). Oh and the mac i am going to buy is a mac mini mid-2011 server (i7 quad core mobile) (and a 256GB SSD) (and 16GB RAM) with a WD HDD enclosure w/ 6TB (2x3TB) for just 730 euros.

If I convert it, it's around €894.45.

If you are serious, then you are trying to scam me. The website equivalent of craigslist in austria is willhaben.at and i cannot find a PC better than mine under 1500 euros.

Keep your gaming computer in a separate room from the one you study at.

It's like how if you have junk food on your desk, you're more likely to eat it, so it's best to put it out of sight so you're not constantly tempted.

I was a big gamer and did more gaming than actual study, but just studying somewhere else helped a lot.

You could go for a hackintosh

Tried that....twice (on a Z87 rig and X99 rig). It didn't quite work out.

Why cant you just lend your PC to a friend or something?

I do not have a friend that needs a PC right now. I am selling my monitor (XL2411Z) to a friend though (for a measly 150 euros, now it is over 300 on most etailers).

Also Pear OS :3

I think i'll stick to os x due to it's popularity in school (if i install linux on my x99 rig then i am bound to run windows as well or just play the games i like on linux (eg tf2) so linux doesnt keep me away).

EDIT1: I'll update this post and maybe even the classified section to include my PC. I will not ship it though so if you want it you've got to come to Vienna ;)
