2048x1536 Resolution help?

Go to solution Solved by Jack.EXE,

why not just set it to 1920x1440, native 4:3?

Hey all, I know it sounds like a weird resolution but I need it as it's 4:3 which is really good for CS:GO. Here is my problem, a 1440p monitor doesn't have enough pixels (barely, very close) and a 4K monitor can do it, but obviously there is no 4K 144hz monitor.

TL:DR, how to get 2048x1536 144Hz if 1440p monitors are short a few pixels, and 4K monitors which have enough pixels don't have 144Hz models.

I was thinking possibly overclocking a 4K panel or forcing the monitor to have a few more pixels at the expense of details, dunno

Thanks :D

not as detailed, easier to get headshots on 2048x1536

edit: actually not that many less pixels, I'll try it out :)
