Hello people who know more than me!

I have a question.

I'm building a rig, and I want some kickass ram that will be awsome!

So I use my PC as a content creator and so, I use after effects and sony vegas, which is why im in a pickle, as I was reading about cas and speeds, and my mind fell to pieces!

The motherboard I will be using will be this: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-x99ssliplus.

So if it could work with the mobo that would be a charm.

Also I would like to have 32Gb of ram, and considering that there are 2 quad channels Im sure this is possible. But this is a future upgrade. So when making your decision please bare this in mind.

Also if you could keep the price to as low as possible that would be smashing, and if there was a small sacrifice I  could make to have 32Gb instead of 16Gb please put that in too, so that I can have a choice, as I often create ram disks for quick speed and could do with that extra storage!

The link bellow will give you a list of the ram, that I can afford so please stay within this range unless there is something better, between 0 and 200 Pounds. That is my limit.

Any questions, please ask and I will answer asap. If you dont understand anything then please ask, this was slightly rushed so maybe I missed something!

I found 32 GB of memory for you

Kingston(awesome brand!) hyperx fury

2400 mhz @ cl15      https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-hx424c15fbk432

These are quad channel and 32 GB so yea...you're good to go.

Speed of your ram does NOT affect your pefromance. If it does then it's a minimum of all minimums. If you are a content creator then go with a great cpu like i7 5820k or i7 5960x because unless you want 4 gpu's in your rig then there is really no reason to go with i7 5830k.

So really the speeds dont mean anything too much. And I should go for 32 Gb? Also Im getting a 5820k and OCing it to something stable!

For that money...32 GB is a no brainer. Btw if you think 2400 mhz is slow(it's not) then just overclock it, not a problem. Just get the biggest amount of memory you can for a trusted brand. That's all there is when it comes to buying memory.
