MSI 770 Lightning Airflow

So I recently added two 770 lightnings to my PC and for airflow purposes I need to know if the fans on the gpu cooler are exhaust or intake fans. Just want to make sure I'm not choking the gpu coolers.

they are intake fans, but they clean out the dust by spinning the other way (for 5 seconds during boot)

They spin and blow out for a bit when you start up to clean dust then blow onto the PCB for the remainder.

They blow air onto the pcb and exhaust it all over the place

 

Well, technically the force the air through a fin array and onto the coldplate on top of the pcb
