Programs exclusive to certain mobo's????

Go to solution Solved by Samdb,

If it's only listed on the manufacturers website, and requires the features that only one manufacturer provides, then yes.

Is it true that certain programs on any of people use are exclusive to certain mobo's?? The Lan optimizer from gigabyte, the chart says only available on chipsets below z77.

Things like Fan xpert 2 and 4-way optimisation are indeed exclusive to certain motherboards as they usually work with hardware built onto the motherboard.

An example of this is ASRock's software for the Extreme4 motherboard. XFast LAN, XFast USB, a RAMDisk program, etc.

I don't think they work with any other motherboard.

Virtu MVP is exclusive to some mobos on z87 .. Msi , asrock , but not asus. This only applies to win 7. In win 8 you don't need virtu MVP .. Any mobo can run it.. But the basic version comes with msi and asrock for free.

GamingPC: Intel 4770k CPU, 2xMSI 780 GTX Twin Frozr, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro, Swiftech H220 CPU Cooler.
