Hello there!

I have been having this problem for about a month now where my computer shuts down and reboots while playing games. It seems to happen about 20 minutes into the game.  I have had a similar issue in the past where my pc would reboot or blue screen randomly when playing games and watching something on my second monitor(like twitch or youtube) back then i didn't really care because it happened rarely.

But now it becoming quiet annoying since i always disconnect when playing CS:GO.

Also i don't know weather its a temperature issue since my temps are fairly normal for summer( around 70-75 C for gpu when playing and 75-80 C for cpu).

Specs:

CPU: i5 3570

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77X-D3H

GPU: Sapphire AMD HD 7770

RAM: 16GB (4x4GB corsair vengence LP)

PSU: Corsair CX500

SSD: Samsung 830 256 GB

HDD: WD blue 1TB

Soundcard: Asus Xonar DG

Just out of curiousity, have you checked the temperatures your components run at before it dies? My friend had a problem where his computer kept shutting down and it was because it was overheating due to being really dirty.

My name is Sebastian, I relate to Linus

There are a few things it could be, but in my experience these kinds of problems are often traced back to the PSU. That is, something is wrong with it, and higher power consumption during gameplay trips it's protections and causes the system to shut down or reboot.

Well that is like after 1 and a half CS:GO deathmatches so i dont think that temps are high :(

Well if i do decide to replace my PSU what would you recommend (having in mind that i might upgrade the gpu in the future) for my system besides corsair because everything else from corsair seem too expensive. :)

says vista driver fault on the last log, also chrome.exe. Does it crash during a benchmark?

For psu it depends on price and needed wattage, i like seasonic and evga (most evga) but they are lots a good psu's

Hmm also memory, do a memtest86, does it have any errors.

I havent tried any benchmarks but it would probably crash there too. It crashes when im playing games (anything from csgo to project cars) about 20 minutes into the game.

For the psu i guess around 100 euros maybe a bit more and for wattage 500-600W ( i dont think its needed for my specs but i guess for future upgrades).

you have my picks for psu's (evga gs i think is in that range) i would test everything before you get a new psu. Memtest86 for ram, check hard drive or ssd for errors. Take out gpu and try it. One ram stick try it. Admin cmd prompt type: sfc /scannow

I think its a memory error because of the logs (not good with them) everything updated too, drivers, bios?

If it is indeed the PSU, I'd recommend talking to Corsair support actually. They may just send you a new one, as I imagine you're still within the 3 year warranty.

Is there any possibility that this has something to do with ram temps because every time i open up my pc ram seems to be the hottest part not really sure though.

Also i have 4 sticks should i test each one individually ?

Anyway thanks for the help.
