PC won't turn on...

Go to solution Solved by mgsstar,

Its not getting a stable 5v DC power thus failing to boot. It might the power supply. Try the solution below to see if you can fix it: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/301206-28-build-stand-motherboard-blinking#2861858

I would try another psu to see if it is the psu problem.

I haven't been home for three days and when I came back my computer just won't turn on. The green little LED light on the bottom of my Sabertooth x58 is flashing every 3 or so seconds. I just recently bought the rosewill capstone 550-m 550w PSU $80 and I'm not sure if it's the PSU. This is my first time encountering a problem like this...

Are all the connectors properly connected? Can you try switching the power supply out with another one to see if it works?

Why in the name of god did you buy rosewill.... well that's what you get for buying rosewill...

The Capstone series from Rosewill are not that bad from the reviews I have read. They still aren't the best best but they get the job done.

You two talking to each other makes it look like Linus is arguing with himself.

I love it.

What's wrong with Rosewill? Jonnyguru rated a power supply out of the capstone series a 9.1, and he recommended it.

The power supply has 121 positive reviews and 16 bad reviews.

So I figured out the problem, I dont know why and I dont know how but brother's iPhone 4's Charger was causing the problem... I pulled it off and the green light stayed on and when I put it back on the lights blink... I guess the wire was pulling the 5V power from PSU...

Rosewill Capstone FTW! lol... $100 PSU like this ain't ganna cause any problem!
