PC won't recognize headset?

Hello guys, 

 

I'm having problems with my computer recognizing my headset... When I try to skype with one of my mates it doesn't work, the sound comes from the screen and he can sometimes hear noises from my side.

I can hear music on spotify just fine, but he can also hear it?

It's an audio duplication error. It can be fixed in Control Panel>Sound

 

Edit: Go ahead and Google it. I'm out of time for solutions right now.
