For some reason, my primary 5.0 GHz wifi band is finicky, and will dropout sometimes, but my 2.4 won't. So I was wondering if there is a way to have computer automatically connect to the 5, and then fall back to the 2.4 if the 5 drops out.

Thanks in advance,

5GHz doesn't reach as far as 2.4GHz. How far are you from your router?

Try using the same SSID for both networks and set your devices preferred frequency band to automatic.
