Yes that is fine. From doing a personal add up 650W will suffice but if 750 is what they have then I would take it.

awesome then, do you think its a fast replacement? like should i replace my psu? and how long does it take?

Yeah apart from the fact that you need a PSU, if you mean swap the whole unit out? Yes you should.

EVGA or Seasonic are no doubt among the best PSUs.

I wish seasonic would get some more fame.

@rassem

That format hurts my eyes. Let me see, your specs are?:

CPU: i5 2500K

MB: ASUS P8Z68-V Pro

RAM: 2x4 GB

GPU: GTX 580

Storage: 60 GB SSD + 2 TB HDD

If yes it'll take around 370 W or less, even a nice 500 W PSU is enough.

I suppose its what they make, like many don't know they sell a keyboard. There are not enough products to market on about. Though it remains at the top of the line on PSUs since they focus so much on them.

370? the calculator said 500 is the minimum. so i added a 100, but where i am there isnt 600w i only found 750w.

no not really, blocking as in something is right infront of it and touching it??

You probably have coil whine coming from your GPU.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Calculator. That's your problem.

A calculator just sums pre-established values, like for example the power a PCIe power connector can deliver.

The way A PSU calculator will give you a result about your PC:

GPU-> it has 1x6 Pin Power connector and 8 Pin. 75 W (slot)+75 W (6 Pin) + 150 W (8 Pin) = 300 W. So according to a calculator the GPU will draw 300 W

CPU-> Usually for high end they set at 100 W

MB-> 50 W

Storage and other devices: 25 W

300 + 100 + 50 + 2x25 = 500 W ACCORDING TO A CALCULATOR

A 580 takes around 250 W, then add 80 W for CPU and rest of craps like HDD and MB so that's why I said around 370 W. You know, with a single 550 W PSU you'd run a single GPU setup with an i7 and Titan X, that's why I linked that PSU for your setup, it's a good price, good quality and if you're gaming it's going to be near the 50 % load, so it'll be also in the best efficiency spot.
