I'm looking for some help on what i'd need to my computer. This is going to be my first build so I know I want to leave some room from upgradability but I still want it to be somewhat future proof. I want to use it for some gaming and video rendering as well as basic surfing. Since I know that I want to do some heavy duty tasks I'd like to spend somewhere near 800 and the top of my budget is 1,000. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No. I already have windows

If you want to game you should probably consider an i7... You'll get the performance for gaming and the hyperthreading for rendering.

No. That's terrible. AMD CPU? R7 370? Nope. Nope. Nope. Build it yourself or get a computer savvy friend to build it for you.
