I can turn it up tho, thought you couldn't do that with non k version ?

It has Intel Turbo Boost Technology that lets it go to 3.9GHz but you can't really manually overclock the chip.

The turbo boost technology only lets one core 'overclock' when needed automatically, but overclocking the whole CPU won't work. And you can't force the turbo boost either whenever you like, only on demand. Should've gone with the 4770k, buying the non-k is just useless even if you think you won't overclock - leading to topics like this lol.

haha I don't really care about overclocking + I have stock cooler at the moment :D and was just wandering what it was when having a wander through the bios
